This peaceful upside-down house sits in an idyllic Cisco neighborhood overlooking the Nantucket coast. Still in its original 90s form, the home needed a serious refresh to ready it for the owners' enjoyment, along with the summer guests who'd soon fill it.

We started with the bathrooms, ripping out an overload of pink fixtures, pink tile, and dated vanities. In their place, we installed custom tile showers and custom vanities by MF Millworks, along with new hardware and shower glass for a fully modernized look.

Fresh paint and refinished floors in a soft gray tone gave the home a New England cottage feel throughout, while the entry and laundry room were upgraded with modern ceramic faux-wood tile. A neutral palette of white, gray, and beige became the foundation for every room, layered with mixed textures for warmth and depth.

Local art by Lauren Martilla, Barbra Clark, and Kerri Rosenthal, paired with carefully selected decor, gave each room a vibrant pop of personality against that neutral backdrop.

Now the home feels energetic, inviting, and bright: a perfect place for families to create new, cherished memories.
